1. Indicate what will happen from September to June, 2015-16, in your plan. Include contact with Leadership, Advisory Team Meetings (you should create a group to oversee process), professional development, assessments, and any activities (ex: parent sessions, student meetings, etc.)
You can view my detailed, color coded yearly calendar in this google doc, or by scrolling down. I recreated our school calendar next year and added in my own PLC days and advisory meetings around testing windows. I mostly kept the testing dates the same as those already planned, but added a few more within the year to measure progress. I also included some tests on the calendar which I won’t be using for my data necessarily, but it is important to consider what other tests will need staffing and to make sure students aren’t testing too much in any given period and burning out.
I also included a Family Data Night, which is a chance for families to come hear about the data we have, what plans we have come up with, and a chance to give feedback. There will be monthly eBlast emails, but it’s important to really explain these numbers and implications to families. It’s also a way to get feedback, as eBlasts are generally one way.

2. List data to be gathered throughout the year to determine progress and guide adjustments. It can be weekly, monthly, biannually, yearly, etc.
- MAP Scores- 4 times through school year, coinciding with beginning and end of the year, as well as around report card times.
- CELDT Scores: biannually- once at the beginning of the year, once midway
- Trimester Report Cards
3. Describe how you will communicate progress with stakeholders (leadership, teachers, families and students).
I will communicate the process and progress with stakeholders through a monthly email blast that will go out to all stakeholders. Teachers will also have 1 monthly PLC dedicated to looking at data and progress specifically, although it will be encouraged at every meeting. Face to face time is really important to me in this plan, because we don’t currently have any specialized time set aside to talk about and review data. Teachers will then communicate back a report from that data PLC meeting, which leadership will compile into a succinct monthly email blast.
